Hi list,

this update of the LM983x scanner driver includes minor fixes - thanks
to all who helped
there are also some minor improvements, that make the usage much
smoother.

I currently received two new test devices from Plustek, so the list
of supported scanners should grow....

From what I can see everything works very well on the UT12.

Besides that I'd like to point out, that in linux-2.4.17 the system hang is 
finally fixed. I definitely don't have to reboot any more for scanning. :-)
